Restart

My last post was July 4th, Independence Day.

The irony is befitting.

Since the days of the hot summer haze, a new reality had manifested: life without Kris. The road of our marriage has come to an end. For the past few months, I've been sorting, coping, dealing, grieving.

The details of the beakup aren't important. All I can say is the past 9 years have been an incredible ride. Kris is an amazing woman, mother, and friend. We had differences that the lawyers say were irreconcilable. They also state that we're incompatible.

That's not the case. We just aren't what we were.

Time to restart.
